FPM-8416S Digital Image Transmission System is a 14-16km full HD uav video link base on COFDM technology. It transmits 1080P 30fps video stream at 80ms low latency and 720P 60fps video stream at 50ms latency. IWAVE FHSS technology makes its frequency bands has the least interference. To avoid the crowded 2.4Ghz, FPM-8416S adopts the UHF 800Mhz and 1.4Ghz.

Besides the video stream, FPM-8416S drone video link also allows the flight control data to be transmitted up to 16km together with video stream. It works well with pixhawk Mission planner and QGround.

Air unit of FPM-8416S is only 130gram(4.6oz). The mini size and better heat dissipation performance is special designed for UAV, drone or other unmanned Systems.

FPM-8416S Uav Video Link has two bi-directional serial ports for connecting with pixhawk. So you can use FPM-8416S to simultaneously get video from the drone and control the drone via Mission planner and QGround on the ground.

● Coded Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (COFDM)
Effectively eliminate multi-path interference under long-distance transmission and enable FPM-8416S drone video transmission link has strong stability for long range.

● FHSS for Anti-interference
Regarding to the frequency hopping function, IWAVE team has their own algorithm and mechanism.
During working FPM-8416S uav digital video transmitter will internally calculate and evaluate the current link based on factors such as received signal strength RSRP, signal-to-noise ratio SNR, and bit error rate SER. If its judgment condition is met, it will perform frequency hopping and select an optimal frequency point from the list.

● Encrypted Transmission
FPM-8416S UAV video link employs AES128 for the video encryption to avoid some one intercept your video stream without authorization.
